We are currently seeking multiple experienced Hydroblasters for a facility in St. Gabriel, Louisiana.

*This is a long-term/temp-to-hire position. This is not short-term/turn-around.

Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Hydroblaster assists in unloading bundles off of trucks, places bundles on the cleaning fixtures, and operates cleaning equipment to clean bundles. Once bundles are cleaned, they are prepped for shipment and loaded on trucks for delivery. The successful candidates will perform high-pressure water cleaning inside rooms within the facility and have experience with Shotgunning and Autoboxing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load heat exchanger equipment from trucks.
  • Prepare cleaning equipment for each job.
  • Maintain appropriate housekeeping of the Cleaning Shop.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.
  • Inspect finished products.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner, avoiding all unsafe practices.
  • Perform internal quality control of cleaning procedures.
  • Set up and perform jobs based on shop practices and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Hydroblaster with a strong understanding of Shotgunning and Autoboxing.
  • Ability to operate high-pressure water cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to hydroblasting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience; knowledge of cleaning practices.
  • Ability to read and write English language.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces and various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods; requires bending, stooping, push/pull, twisting, squatting, lifting, and climbing.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to heat, noise, dust, cold, chemical exposures, and pinching hazards.
  • Stand for long periods with some bending, stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, squatting, lifting, and climbing.
