Manual Machinist

We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join an established provider of engineered products and services. This company specializes in enhancing the reliability of high-value equipment across diverse heavy industries, including petrochemical, refining, natural gas, manufacturing, mining, and transportation. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the precision fabrication, maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate manual machines independently, ensuring precision work aligned with our reliability-focused objectives.
  • Perform bench work to fabricate, repair, and alter machinery across heavy industries while prioritizing safety.
  • Interpret complex blueprints, utilizing precision measuring instruments to achieve stringent tolerances.
  • Utilize a range of precision machinery, shaping and fabricating components from various materials.
  • Align fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories securely on machines, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Evaluate experimental procedures and propose efficiency-enhancing adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records within our specialized tracking systems.
  • Adhere to ISO requirements, safety protocols, quality policies, and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical/vocational training preferred.
  • Proven Manual Machinist experience with precision machining and blueprint interpretation.
  • Proficiency in using precision machinery and measurement tools.
  • Ability to shape and fabricate parts from diverse materials.
  • Familiarity with ISO requirements and dedication to safety protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Drug Screen and Background check are required. 

Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay range: $35.00-$45.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-2:30PM
